Making Money with Your Blog!

A place for finding the Nuts and Bolts for Making Money Online with Affiliate Marketing Business Opportunity!

Many online article marketers think that they can justify being shrills using false identities and fake names. They do so, by pointing out the common use of pen names in writing and call those who decry their methods no more than self-righteous, refreshing and bemusing, Don Quixote's.

I dare to take a stand on these "Shrill" and Buzz Marketing tactics in online article writing and yet I realize that no one cares what anyone thinks until they do something, and well I have and now I speak. I say to those who proclaim innocence, while using false names and misrepresentations; who is swinging at wind powered machines?

You see, I am pointing to what is clearly fraud and if necessary I can further point those who break the law and the spirit of truth to recent FTC rulings against Buzz Marketing. The use of fake names to promote online gimmicks, get rich quick schemes, trinkets, ridiculous diet plans or even to attract AdSense clickers is unethical.

The integrity of the Internet is at stake, and as the saying goes you can only believe half of what you read, we need not allow scoundrels in the midst to take it down to 35% or less. I think these points should enjoy further discussion and in the process, perhaps others will note the obvious misrepresentations occurring and the growth in micro-payments of their ill-gotten gains.

We must hold the online article marketers to a higher standard, each individual engaged in this activity needs to do so with the utmost integrity and ethical standards. It is not okay to lie or use a fake name and be a shrill for one's own personal gain. If you are going to do so, you must use your real name.

Many people say that no one uses their real name on the Internet? Well then, if everything is fake and you really believe that, then you are a fake too, if you operate in such a fashion. Indeed, how can one justify perpetuating such misdirection and misrepresentations against the billions of other Internet users out there? It is not okay to deceive, not even on the Internet and it is illegal to use deceptive marketing practices. Maybe jail time might wake some of these folks up?

Three Things You Must Do Before You Submit To Article Directories

To all writers and non-writers out there, now is the time to start digging up those creative writing skills. With modern communication technology comes the popularity of information-based marketing, which is one of the oldest and most effective techniques in getting targeted prospects to sites and converting them into buyers. This is

The first thing you need to consider when building your website or writing an article is to decide the keyword density you are targeting. This vital component is crucial for ranking well in the search engines, probably the best source of free website traffic. You will want to rank well in the search engines for the keywords you are targeting as it will cost you nothing but a little time and effort.

Keyword density tools are useful tools to use to see your keyword density. It is widely accepted that there is no secret keyword density percentage that will get you to the top of the search engines. Typically, a keyword density of 2% to 10% should be good enough. Dont go over 10%, as your site may be deemed to be keyword spamming by the search engines.

It is important to invest some time to decide which keywords you want to target. This will enable to use the keyword tool to see whether you are getting the results you want. Try to use keywords which do not have too much competition on the search engines. You do not waste all your time writing content only to find that your website will not rank well in the search engines after all!

Another important factor is not to choose too many keywords to target. This will make your content unreadable if it is loaded with too many words appearing too many times. Make your content easy to read for your reader.

So use keyword density tools, they really help save a lot of time. But the really important part may be choosing the right keywords.

One of the best ways to grow your online business these days is to earn the trust of your potential clients so you can easily convince them to do business with you. This can easily be done by establishing your expertise online and sharing a slice of your knowledge by writing and distributing your articles to various publishing sites. When you are able to provide your readers with information that they will find useful and valuable to their lives, they will surely like you and eventually trust you.

Here are the 4 marvelous methods to grow your article marketing:

1. Topics. One of your main goals in writing your articles is to draw quality traffic to your website. If you want to attract those people who are most likely to buy your products and services, you must write about your offerings and those topics that will interest your potential clients. If you are selling diet pills and targeting those people who would like to lose weight fast, you can write information about weight gain and how to effectively combat it using the most effective ways available in the market today.

2. Produce outstanding articles. If you would like to easily make a mark online, you need to make sure that all your articles are worth your readers' time. They must be all well-written, content-rich, useful, valuable, and easy to understand. When you are able to consistently produce content that contain all these elements, you can be assured that your articles will be widely read and republished.

3. Consider your target market. This is one element that you should never take for granted. Remember, you would want to satisfy and keep your readers happy so you can compel them to visit your website, sign-up on your email marketing list, and eventually buy your products and services. Make them happy with your content by addressing their pressing issues, giving them answers to their burning questions, or sharing a slice of your knowledge that can empower them to do amazing things on their own.

4. Widely publish your articles. To easily boost the number of your quality inbound links, make sure that you submit your articles to all leading directories and article submission sites. Prioritize those which have higher page ranking and impressive traffic as these can give your articles the exposure they need.

Article marketing mastery sounds more like an unattainable ideal than an actual destination doesn't it?

I don't expect to ever leave my trusty Dell one day, after writing an article and say "Damn. Nailed it. Time to 'master' something else."

It won't happen. And that's the beauty of all of this.

Progress not perfection.

While I was a copywriter at J Walter Thompson and Young & Rubicam in New York, we creatives would get literally drained by the amount of times we would have to present our ideas. Internally and to the all mighty clients who pay all the bills. Present to this person, present to that person. Get on a plane to Atlanta, present. Go to focus groups, present.

One of the tricks that we came up with during all of that tedium was a game where we would try and insert a phrase into meetings with the head clients. Simple phrase...were totally unique but also HAD NOTHING AT ALL TO DO WITH WHAT WE WERE TRYING TO SELL THEM.

The 'game' part of it was to see who could most creatively insert the phrase!

For instance, before we got into the conference room with the client, the creatives would agree on the phrase, and the more ridiculous the better. So if I was selling ideas to The Bronx Zoo (which I continually did), the phrase might have been something outrageous like having to say "albino criminals" or "why LAWN FURNITURE IS SEXY.' And who ever could do it WITHOUT calling attention to how RIDICULOUS it sounded...won!

Bear with me here, I'm turning the corner.

Well what I didn't know at the time, but do very well know now is that what we were actually accomplishing with this little creative 'phrase game' was that we were inserting unique KEYWORDS into the meeting. We were, in fact, 'cloaking our keywords.'

That's right...KEYWORDS.

Now, here's why you should be playing this not so little game...

By finding VERY SMART ways to insert unique phrases into your articles THAT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE TOPIC OF YOUR ARTICLES, you will be able to track them as they fly around the net.

You'll be able to do natural searches for your own CRAZY keywords and see which webmasters have picked up your content. Because of the uniqueness of your keywords, they will completely be your own. No one else should have ever used these words in combination...that's your tracking key.

Again, it is very important that you DON'T use a crazy keyword (which can be more than one word, don't forget) that will pull your readers off course. It can't be disruptive. So finding clever ways of putting them in there is important to the natural flow.

Try it with one article.

Watch as your work ends up in countries you've never even heard of before.

It's as wild as...let me think...as wild as albino criminals I suppose.

Enjoy!

Viral marketing is a methods of list building

There are multiple methods of list building, and if you are just getting started, until you have gained mastery over one or two methods, it is advisable to use multiple methods of list building strategies. You’ll see every step of the process, no matter how small, in exacting detail so

Want to be really succesful when it comes to Internet marketing? Go Dutch. I'm serious. In order to gain hundreds of incoming links to your website, you actually may need to learn to read and write Dutch or hire someone who can. This wil give your search engine ranking a major boost.

The reason is this.

The Dutch and Flemish Internet has something currently no other country has. The phenomenum is called "startpage" or "starter page". These are personal (usually relatively small) Internet directories, maintained by individual surfers and visible to everyone. Not only are these start pages becoming increasingly popular (especially by less experienced Internet users and those looking for subcultures or niches), they offer webmasters a change to create hundreds of incoming links to their webpage in a matter of days.

And, as we all know, incoming links is what you need. And the good thing is, not all of these require a reciprocal link, so not every link placed is considered a link-exchange.

Startpages are available almost exclusively in Dutch, although they are gaining some ground in the UK as well. It probably won't be long before they will become popular elsewhere as well - most likely in non-native English countries, since there is a wellknown (yet not catered very well) market for search facilities and directories in local languages. And since most of these markets are too small for the big guys such as Google, Yahoo or Lycos - these niches are the number one spots for startpages.

For companies and organisations, active in the alternative lifestyle markets for example, knowing how to use these starter pages is becoming a must. "Adult" is increasingly becoming a problem area. DMOZ for example hardly allows any adult websites into their directory and since this is a major "feeder" for other engines such as Google and MSN for example, getting any reasonable ranking in the Big Ones is becoming increasingly difficult for such websites.

Incoming links through startpages compensates for this problem.

Article Marketing - When to Market Your Online Business With Articles

All those articles can be written in a few minutes a day. You may think it takes hours, but I've created 12 articles in about thirty minutes, and most of them are publishable in some format. A few of the articles are simply ideas I've written in article format, that I'll use eventually to create ebooks. But most of these are articles I'll publish in the next few days.

1. FREQUENTLY

Publish at least five articles a week, but if you desire to increase your income, that number should be 25 or more. The number of articles you publish and the number of times you publish them will directly correlate to the increase in income. There's a difference in increasing and maintaining income. As you build your business, you must post more articles.

2. Day, Night, Any Time

It doesn't matter so much what time of day you publish them as it does time of week you publish. Some publishers prefer to put their ezines out early in the week, or at least begin selecting articles on dry days for later publication. If your articles are there and ready to go on Monday, they'll be in many publications by Friday.

3. Seasonal Marketing

Holiday Marketing offers inspired ideas and concepts that can take your business far, but don't forget the holidays that don't come at Christmas and Thanksgiving. President's Day Sales are popular in the real world, why not offer a great buy for patriots in your business too? Present a Romantic Twist for Valentine's day, and don't forget Easter. Celebrate Salvation with an opportunity to share your testimonials. Or strike a note for Independence on July 4th, what better day to remember Financial Freedom?
