Article Marketing - Does It 'Really' Work For You?

I've been hearing things about people saying that submitting articles to article directories is 'folly', and that it is merely generating content for the directories. That is a misplaced kind of thinking.

When you submit your website to Google, you are adding content to their search engines!

When you do pay per click, you are giving money to Google or Yahoo or whichever search engine you use. When you submit posts to forums, you are generating content for the forums.

Nobody lives alone on the Internet, you have to depend on authority sites to generate traffic for your websites! Even the gurus need authority sites, they just make the authority sites richer so THEY can get richer.

Do you see where we are going with this?

So don't listen to those people who say that writing and submitting articles to article directories is just generating content for the directories. Chances are they are pumping in cash into the PPC networks or adding more money into another Press Release submitter's coffers.

Go out and do what works for you. Mutual benefit; the Internet is about mutual benefit. And article marketing is about that.

Go and write your articles and submit them to the best directories, that's all how you will get maximum leverage out of them and start generating a steady flow of traffic to your site. After all, when you submit your articles to a site like Squidoo or to a forum, you are doing the same; you are generating content for them.
